The Dignity of Work.
Jobs For Life is a nationally recognized program that is changing lives in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Rooted in the restorative dignity of a day’s work, JFL coaches participants on the resume building needed to get in the door and the work ethic and soft skills to land the job. JFL mentors meet participants where they are at, coming alongside them in their journey to meaningful work; transforming lives, families and our community.
How does JFL work?

In the Classroom
In the classroom, students will get the chance to enhance their knowledge of resume building, personal finance, and so much more. Before completing the class, each student has the opportunity to participate in mock interviews, hosted by a volunteer from our community.

On the Job
The on the Job training component of JFL allows students to gain practical hands on experience in one of our enterprises. This experience helps to build their resumes and increases their chances of finding fulfilling employment.
