Our new Executive Director started on March 2nd! We are excited to have Ric Pawloski on staff with the OCCDA. His experience and passion for leadership development will be key as we move forward to cast vision for our future. Please welcome Ric by connecting with him via email@example.com.
Starting in April, Beth Lee, Director of Operations, transitioned to Fund Development Consultant on a parttime basis with the OCCDA for three months. Her husband, Brian, recently accepted an Assistant Professor position with Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology near Milwaukee, WI. They will move to that area in August of this year. Please pray for her and Brian during this transition. Below is a letter from Beth.
Dear OCCDA family & friends,
What an experience these last two years have been and how far we have come as an organization! We have journeyed through so much and I am grateful for the impact that we see in the community because of the collaborations, partnerships, staff and volunteers. Lives are being transformed!
The path has not always been easy, nor the burden light, but Jesus has carried us through a very important time of preparation and foundation building to allow exponential growth in the coming years. His timing is always perfect! In seasons past and new seasons to come, He is ever faithful and guiding.
As God guides me in a new direction I have so many things to reflect upon. A huge thank you to our Board and Committees. It has been such a pleasure to work with such an encouraging team of people that have true hearts for kingdom vision and impact. Thank you to staff that have worked so hard to establish and implement the necessary systems (and processes J) to ensure that all employees are “prepared for further education, life, and work, while experiencing Christ´s love.” I am so proud of the work that you do and the progress that each of you have made in your roles as leaders and in the leadership development of your staff. Thank you to our partners, collaborators and many volunteers. I have such lasting memories of every Management meeting, Benefit Committee Meeting, Fund Development meeting, Volunteer and Marketing meetings. And what a great joy it has been to see each event, program, and job opportunity push each of us to the next level of leadership.
I will always remember my time with the OCCDA; the kingdom victories, the lessons learned, and the friendships made. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity.
